The Talk of the Street is a weekly unofficial Coronation Street podcast that has been purposefully ill-informed since 2018. In around 105 minutes, Helen and Gavin break down the storylines of the week, share opinions, get things wrong, and pick out a Moment of the Week. They are the creative masterminds behind the London!? meme that you've seen that probably wasn't credited to us, the curators of Fred Noises, and they produce a free weekly blog that really deserves to be syndicated. They're also very humble.

Psycho killer! Qu'est-ce que c'est? It’s a week on the cobbles that has everything for fans of the more psychotic characters, and fans of High School French phrases. Mostly the former. Zut alors! Chesney and Gemma have ice-cold reactions to the predicament and the backseat a pleading Henry finds himself in, the hoodie gang who stole lunches from Roy’s have graduated to colorful drive-bys, and Jude has the look of a man who has thought “it puts the spag bol on its skin” more than once as he ignores the obvious destination his marriage is heading to. Matters take a further sinister turn when, for the second time in a month, Helen exposes Gav to an image he will spend the rest of his life trying to unsee. Please drop us a line at thetalkofthestreet@gmail.com or get in touch with us on social media, we’re @corriepodcast on The Facebook and The Twitter and our blog is thetalkofthestreetpodcast.wordpress.com.
