The Talk of the Street is a weekly unofficial Coronation Street podcast that has been purposefully ill-informed since 2018. In around 105 minutes, Helen and Gavin break down the storylines of the week, share opinions, get things wrong, and pick out a Moment of the Week. They are the creative masterminds behind the London!? meme that you've seen that probably wasn't credited to us, the curators of Fred Noises, and they produce a free weekly blog that really deserves to be syndicated. They're also very humble.

It’s a bad week for fans of alternative therapies and non-fans of vaccinations, and fans of coherent storytelling. Otherwise the Sinead and Daniel storyline didn’t really advance all that much despite the power of thievery that was going on thanks to Beth’s bright ideas. Roy seems to be the only resident capable of tracking down a missing greyhound, Archie Shuttleworth is dead for some reason, and Brian may well lose his job thanks to that wanker Phil. Elsewhere, Kate’s eyes, Michelle’s fringe, Robert’s delusion, and Rana’s patience are all pushed to their limits as fertility clinic farce plays out. Otherwise, Imran buys Nick’s car for 250 under the asking price and Mike and Liz ain’t a thing. Gav knew this would be a shite week. They say the art of letter writing is dead. Well, we here at The Talk of the Street Towers say pish to all that and invite you all to enter into cordial correspondence with us on all things Corrie or Podcast. On email, we’re thetalkofthestreet@gmail.com, on Facebook and Twitter we’re @corriepodcast and there’s a dusty blog at thetalkofthestreetpodcast.wordpress.com that would always appreciate a visit, although I’m not sure why you’d want to.
