The Talk of the Street is a weekly unofficial Coronation Street podcast that has been purposefully ill-informed since 2018. In around 105 minutes, Helen and Gavin break down the storylines of the week, share opinions, get things wrong, and pick out a Moment of the Week. They are the creative masterminds behind the London!? meme that you've seen that probably wasn't credited to us, the curators of Fred Noises, and they produce a free weekly blog that really deserves to be syndicated. They're also very humble.

James comes out to Ed who seems to take it well, seems to take it well, seems to take it well, then takes it very badly. Despite Maria continually telling Ali that she doesn’t want him, she wants him to leave, she regrets getting her hole off of him, Ali continues to pursue Maria which leads us to decide that we’re no longer Team Ali and as soon as is character is moved on, the better. Chesney and Gemma are having problems juggling their appointments with the quads which generates friction with Tara, a PR expert who seemingly has never spent a minute working in the PR sphere. Fiz and Tyrone continue their track of being the worst parents ever by wanting to be mates with their offspring, caving in to their every demand, and ignoring the fact they could stop the very thing that’s causing them such heartache. Abi and Kev finally get together but it is nowhere near as satisfying as we anticipated it to be, despite liking all the characters involved. Oliver wakes up enough to kinda blow out some of his three candles. Steve and Tim are the Hulks.
