The Talk of the Street is a weekly unofficial Coronation Street podcast that has been purposefully ill-informed since 2018. In around 105 minutes, Helen and Gavin break down the storylines of the week, share opinions, get things wrong, and pick out a Moment of the Week. They are the creative masterminds behind the London!? meme that you've seen that probably wasn't credited to us, the curators of Fred Noises, and they produce a free weekly blog that really deserves to be syndicated. They're also very humble.

This week’s Corrie requested a lot of blind eye turning from its viewing several. Gina somehow managed to extract an international telephone number from a payphone despite there being no real means for her to do so, and then Nick deposited 30 grand cash into Underworld’s account without raising the suspicions of the bank’s Money Laundering Officer. The Chesney / Gemma storyline refuses to die no matter how gloriously delightful Emma is, Brian sets his sights low for his next job opportunity, and hell hath no fury for Johnny and Jenny like a Liz scorned, run over, and left for dead in the street. Elsewhere, Billy and Paul compete in Olympic standard flirting, Seb still thinks he can adopt the twins, Abi is staying at Bonita’s don’tcha know, and Angie’s departure is so low key only dogs sensed it even happened. So if you want to get in touch with us, perhaps you’d like to wish Helen all the best with her upcoming surgery, or maybe offer me luck in keeping the household standing and in one piece and not have us eating over the sink while she’s in hospital, you are more than welcome to do so. On email, we’re thetalkofthestreet@gmail.com, we’re @corriepodcast on Twitter and Facebook and we’re still resisting Instagram because I don’t understand it, and our blog is thetalkofthestreetpodcast.wordpress.com.
