The Talk of the Street is a weekly unofficial Coronation Street podcast that has been purposefully ill-informed since 2018. In around 105 minutes, Helen and Gavin break down the storylines of the week, share opinions, get things wrong, and pick out a Moment of the Week. They are the creative masterminds behind the London!? meme that you've seen that probably wasn't credited to us, the curators of Fred Noises, and they produce a free weekly blog that really deserves to be syndicated. They're also very humble.

We rattle through the storylines in record time this week, which may or may not be a good thing. Steve and Leanne receive some life-changing news about Oliver’s condition. For the second consecutive week, Emma has her hand stuck in a vase. It’s date night for most of the couples on the street, which apparently means descending on Fiz and Tyrone’s for some prawn cocktail and steak with all the trimmings. Michael does his best to talk Alina into doing the wrong thing by letting down her friend so she can go off a-smooching with Seb. We finally have a potential threesome we can get behind as Roy manages to back himself between Evelyn and Train Man Arthur. Jenny is back from France but, in an hilarious Gallic twist on Home Alone, seems to have left her Johnny behind. *slaps cheeks with after shave*. Scott enjoys a pre-work pint in a tabard.
