The Talk of the Street is a weekly unofficial Coronation Street podcast that has been purposefully ill-informed since 2018. In around 105 minutes, Helen and Gavin break down the storylines of the week, share opinions, get things wrong, and pick out a Moment of the Week. They are the creative masterminds behind the London!? meme that you've seen that probably wasn't credited to us, the curators of Fred Noises, and they produce a free weekly blog that really deserves to be syndicated. They're also very humble.

Alya puts her Voggling fingers to good work as she finds some shadiness in Tim’s Dad’s past, while Tim’s Dad has more baths that Joseph. A trip to the vet give Evelyn more than an eye-watering bill as she bumps into someone she used to step out with in years gone by. Ken runs into Norris, a fellow resident at Shady Acres, but Norris paints a very bleak picture of life in the retirement home. The writers seem determined to make Emma a doormat for Seb for the second time as he and Alina deny they still have feelings for each other. Michael annoys Grace. Neither David nor Gail work at the factory, both hang out at the factory, and now one of them works at the factory. Poor Gemma’s struggles with the quads continues, despite Bernie’s best efforts, and her horrible friends worst. We learn more about Chesney’s personal hygiene regime than we absolutely needed. Shona’s magazine subscriptions are up for renewal. Hope wants to stuff Cerberus.
