Eileen and George are looking to put the past behind them until an errant cadaver and a man who says 'oh' have them at each other’s throats again. Curtis seems way too keen to sign up male residents of the street to a charity scuddy calendar for Oliver’s fund. Fiz is encouraged to get her dating app profile out there and it isn’t long before she gets a bite from a catfish. Natasha is ready to trust others with Sam but confusion over an invite leaves others disappointed. Todd schemes to scrape money together to pay off Will, and once again manages to damage Paul’s relationship with Summer in the process. Nick buys a superfluous blender. Marcus’s mum needs to learn how to make a decision. The bishop is not happy.

Worried that Summer needs more stability and ignoring the fact that Billy wanted to slow things down a couple of weeks ago, Todd thinks the best way forward is to propose marriage. After the damp squib of announcing Kirsty’s death last week, Tyrone does his best to elicit a response from his children by telling them about Alina’s pregnancy. A botched knicker sample order turns some unwanted heat and light onto the success of Izzy’s working from home arrangement. Gail is once again disillusioned by how lowly she’s seen and thought of by her offspring and so heads off to somewhere everyone knows her name; Thailand. The Undertaker and Sean team up to manipulate Eileen into liking them both again. Disappointed by Alya’s lack of belief in his DJ abilities, Ryan begins to get too close to Daisy who has another hare-brained scheme and this time it’ll make them both rich. Simon has a low-key 18th birthday. Jo Lafoe has knicker-inspecting spectacles. Nick finally trades in that Rover 75.

Daisy is out for revenge but her thievery of Sean’s shifts will ultimately result in Kirk moaning about being hungry. Much to James’s delight, Danny is back in town but their one-night performance is caught by lads with camera phones. Nick, David, Sarah, and Audrey all treat Gail appallingly, which is par for the course, and it’s down to Sam to come to her rescue. Alya and Ryan are still a thing, but for how long is anyone’s guess as she insists he starts pulling his weight, which he interprets as doing a DJ set online for free. Summer is struggling with the responsibility of her diabetes so Billy helps by abandoning her. As Tyrone prepares to bury Kirsty, and juggles a very tentative relationship with Fiz, Alina questions how committed he is to her pregnancy, given his reaction to the massive photo and tattoos. Leanne gets shoes and candles for her special birthday. Natasha hasn’t fixed the sinkhole yet. Everyone’s back.

With Harvey’s trial fast approaching, the rubber is hitting the road for Sharon and Leanne, which hopefully won’t give Natasha cause to shout at Nick again. The frequency of Summer’s toilet visits gives Billy some cause for concern over a Father’s Day meal, and forces him to reconsider a promise he made to Todd. Advice from Bernie gives Gemma some food for thought regarding Aled’s implant operation. Nina’s gift for Roy would bring a tear to a glass eye. Emma and Curtis’s attraction to each other continues to fall victim to their own misunderstandings. The Double Glammy pyramid scheme approaches critical mass when Daisy tries to secure a bank loan and Sean tries to expand. Rita’s scheming again. Thanks to Alina, Tyrone’s mid-life crisis takes another leap forward as he becomes the proud owner of a motorcycle and the reluctant owner of a Romanian flag on his leg. Paul’s kumquat is too sour. No one is joining the Territorial Army.

Tyrone’s Michigan State t-shirt may be destined for only one viewing as Alina takes him off to buy a shiny new wardrobe with lots of zips but no socks. Gemma and Chesney find themselves on different pages when it comes to Aled’s cochlea implant operation and seek the advice of a complete stranger to break the impasse. Mary is an unexpected ally for Bernie in matters of the heart. Billy spends the week being overly interested in Summer’s diet while she is slamming back the energy drinks as the pressure of exams begins to take its toll on her comprehension of Romance languages. ITV Stefan has signed the shortest lease in history as Leanne and Nick move back to Victoria Court, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Sharon and any number of Harvey's backup goons. Dev’s shoes are all squelchy. Todd is used to hearing si, señor. Tommy O is forceful with selfies.

Peter has gone AWOL as news comes through that another liver has been found for him and Kirk’s brother, Kiefer, has an hour to find him and get him to the hospital. The biggest problem with Johnny and Jenny’s relationship hitting the skids is we have to go through the rigmarole of someone else taking over at the Rovers, but Daisy's charm offensive should put paid to that. Bernie enacting revenge on Evelyn goes off in a direction no one could’ve predicted and results in Dev’s staircase carpet taking a pounding. Parents of the Year, Tyrone and Fiz, decide that the best thing for the girls is for them to argue, point-score, and lawyer up against each other. Gemma worries if she can still talk with her mouth full while using sign language. Nina’s struggles with her grief are compounded when Billy and Roy conspire to give her someone else’s state of mind to concern herself about. Daniel has a grammar-correcting pen. Aadi will never forget his basketball gear again. Summer needs an early night.

No one could imagine the busyness of Jenny’s day and even if they could, they surely couldn’t imagine the shocking chain of events that would involve her being admitted to hospital or Johnny threatening to have a word with Ronnie. Adam has second thoughts about giving Peter two’s up on his liver while Sarah and Carla recover the knickers stolen by Lucas, under the nose of a bumbling security guard. Gary’s been a good guy for months now which makes Maria decide to reevaluate their relationship over talk of Mousetrap and gorillas in captivity. The day of Seb’s funeral has arrived and some stock-taking by Abi makes her remember that Nina was a vital part of her son's life, while ITV Corey makes an ill-advised return to the street. Sharon carries a fully-charged taser. Face ID is temporarily a thing. ITV Stefan was dead all along.

Sam’s disappearance brings Nick and Leanne back to the street where mild peril and Natasha, determined to do the sensible thing, await them. Tyrone and Alina are excited about buying coffee-related goods for the flat while Evelyn is determined to make him and his mid-life crisis as miserable as possible. Daisy’s plan to blackmail Ronnie all the way to Double Glammy Successville backfires when she misjudges Jenny’s tolerance. Steve is confronted by the ne’er-do-well who caused last week’s bike accident and both he and Emma are surprised for different reasons to discover that he’s the old version of Todd but from 1999. A workplace accident puts Evelyn out of commission and has Dev and Bernie dancing to her tune to avoid legal action. Nina is conflicted to learn that Seb’s funeral is tomorrow and Abi has kept it secret from her, while Asha continues to work her way to the truth of ITV Corey’s involvement in the murder. Adam and Daniel enjoy pints while discussing their suitability to be Peter’s liver donor. Johnny’s eyesight in prison can’t have been that bad as he immediately recognizes Sharon from visiting Harvey, and Gary is only happy to confirm the connection. Cerberus gets his biscuits. David checks the Red Rec. Everyone gets a haircut.

Daisy is like a bloodhound when she realizes there’s been chemistry going on in the Rovers that no one’s told her about. Homeless Carol makes a shock return and is quickly established as a pawn in Sean’s pyramid scheme shenanigans. Natasha’s had about as much of the sinkhole as she’s prepared to take and offers to fix it, while the residents of Number 8 behave like they were waiting for her to do so. Asha reveals a cunning plan to get ITV Corey to admit to the role he played in Seb’s murder. Tyrone and Alina plan to buy a flat they spend half a week complaining about, as Hope and Ruby go shoeless. Cathy has taken to collecting old pizza boxes while Tim’s Mum worries that all the hot flushes in the house could heat the entire street. Steve falls off his bike and his face lands in a bucket of grease. Sharon’s blatant attempts at espionage continue to go unnoticed while Sam does his best to kidnap himself as Gail wraps herself in seaweed. Dev Fabreezes himself. Ronnie’s shirt buttons don’t work. Aadi’s controller is with the luxury crisps.

No amount of veggie lasagna is going to get Kelly out of the trouble she’s in, particularly when ITV Corey manages to distance himself from the situation. It takes Tyrone most of an episode to realize that everyone he’s currently living with has had a relationship with Seb. Summer worries that she could have done more to prevent the attack on Nina and Seb, and no one really disagrees too strongly. Ed is convinced that the best thing for everyone would be if he moved out of his own house, took his circular saw with him, and went to visit Aggie for a while. Daniel is just about competent enough to tutor Sam ahead of his vital Oakhill entrance exam. Abi is determined to get justice and doesn’t care who gets hurt in the process, including Nina who is already blaming herself enough for everyone. Billy blabs to Laura the Chin. Michael had problems with his winkle. Jenny doesn’t accept benefits in kind.
