The Talk of the Street is a weekly unofficial Coronation Street podcast that has been purposefully ill-informed since 2018. In around 105 minutes, Helen and Gavin break down the storylines of the week, share opinions, get things wrong, and pick out a Moment of the Week. They are the creative masterminds behind the London!? meme that you've seen that probably wasn't credited to us, the curators of Fred Noises, and they produce a free weekly blog that really deserves to be syndicated. They're also very humble.

Gina is the world’s worst go-between as Tim’s doubts over Sally’s fidelity are allowed to fester, while the fruits of Paula’s labour over the last months appears to be limited to one CCTV recording and two character witnesses. I’d be checking my bill if I were you, Sal. Meanwhile, Jenny manages to resurrect a previously submerged phone, Mary’s t-shirt collection welcomes an odd addition and Hope takes exception to Evelyn’s jigsaw. Elsewhere baby fever has rendered Kate and Robert incapable of empathy for their other halves, Dev runs in the wrong direction, and Brian has successfully found a bicycle helmet in his size but still needs help with left and right. There’s a little sliver of space of gmail’s server reserved for mail to us so you might as well use it. Send your words, murmurings, joy, panic, and cake to thetalkofthestreet@gmail.com. Alternatively, there’s always @corriepodcast on Twitter and Facebook. And if you’re more of a blog person, and you do look a bit like a blog person, thetalkofthestreetpodcast.wordpress.com is for you.
