The Talk of the Street is a weekly unofficial Coronation Street podcast that has been purposefully ill-informed since 2018. In around 105 minutes, Helen and Gavin break down the storylines of the week, share opinions, get things wrong, and pick out a Moment of the Week. They are the creative masterminds behind the London!? meme that you've seen that probably wasn't credited to us, the curators of Fred Noises, and they produce a free weekly blog that really deserves to be syndicated. They're also very humble.

The show feels a bit emptier after the Josh & David storyline bumps into a few things before finally making its way to its conclusion this week. Cormac’s death is felt pretty hard, particularly as we don’t really know if or when his corpse was lifted from Michelle living room carpet, and Ryan is so worried for his own safety that not even a trip to Ibiza can cheer him. Elsewhere, Johnny and Carla play Jim and Hannah at their own game in the blackmailing plot, Brian’s got an interview, Jude turns Weatherfield Psycho and has to return some videotapes, Sinead’s pregnancy is causing concern, and Tracy’s wedding to Steve is revealed to be next Monday, but will the free pass confusion spoil the plans? Yeah. It really has been one of those weeks. Never mind. Next week, everybody dies.
