Ed is working himself into an early grave to attend to all the snags on Grace’s list for the new house. As the street prepares to say a final farewell to Norris Cole, Ches and Bernie’s dismissive attitudes towards the deaf community drive Freda toward something rash. Billy does some proper vicaring. The Alleyway of Doom claims another victim. PC Tinker has never been so confused.

September 17, 2021 - Your Accidental Fiancée

Kelly gradually comes to terms with her situation and makes a new friend on the inside, while a guilty Imran is out of pocket on her psychiatric care. Distraught from last week’s verdict, Abi breaks up with Kev and disappears to her cousin’s. Alina puts in the hard hours to fix her relationship with Hope which leads to the unearthing of some troubling history. Craig discovers that doing the right thing late doesn’t easily remedy doing the stupid thing quickly and James is less than impressed to hear that his conscience eventually got the better of him. Aadi accuses Dev of not caring about his new relationship with Summer and then within 12 hours regrets ever mentioning anything. Ken returns to badmouth Norris with Rita in the cafe and then isn’t phased when later the same day, Norris dies. Max With a New Head is having problems at school and is making life difficult for newly-instated teacher Daniel. Speed Daal’s financial problems continue, and then escalate to such an extent that two old characters and a tarantula are coaxed out of the shadows. Jimmy’s movements are like clockwork. September 10, 2021 - Massive Cactus

Hope returns to school after trying to kill Alina and when Fiz gets a call from the school to inform her about an incident, I think we’re all well within our rights to jump to some conclusions here. It’s Moving In Day for Emma and Curtis except neither Curtis nor his massive cactus are anywhere to be found. As Eileen discovers the truth about Patsy’s ashes, we enter into the nineteenth phase of her wanting nothing to do with Todd or The Undertaker. The trial reaches its conclusion as Abi and Imran desperately try to find that key piece of evidence to prove Corey guilty and Kelly innocent. Simon’s girlfriend hopes take a hit. Tyrone is outsmarted by a ten-year-old. Stefan’s panic button works.

September 3, 2021 - Definitely Maybe

Curtis takes another funny turn and becomes frustrated at the random nature of his illness. Tyrone and Fiz have to listen to some home truths as Hope has her first therapy session. The Undertaker and Todd argue over the proper way to dispose of Pat Phelan’s ashes and inadvertently get Eileen involved. With the trial almost upon her, Nina desperately tries to remember more about the events surrounding the attack. Simon really needs to pipe down. Sabeen is sorry not sorry. We’re done with Tommy O.

August 27, 2021 - Some Arachnid Pied Piper

Maria discovers the root of Liam’s tickly cough and thanks to a speculating doctor at the hospital, Kirk’s work van is in for a bit of a going over with a metal bar. Feeling guilty about his moment with Fiz last week, Tyrone doubles down with Alina but worries that Emma may have overheard too much. Daisy attempts to make amends by coaxing Jenny into moving on with her life and into Ronnie’s bed. Michael finally comes clean with Grace about his feelings with predictable results. There’s a blast from the past lurking at the back of the funeral parlor’s stock room that shocks Todd to his core and may open old wounds for Eileen. With Kelly’s Defense Funds dwindling away, a sudden windfall helps Imran pay for the expert advice that might just get his client off the hook. Abi shouts at Chesney about chips. Gary’s van isn’t powered by fairy dust. Toyah’s donuts are sprinkled.

August 20, 2021 - No Hillary Clinton

Corrie Monopoly continues this week as Debbie battles the combined wits of Nick and Leanne and both sides vie for the better deal in The Bistro partnership. Daisy’s sights continue to focus on Daniel, but everyone on the street with an opinion do their best to scupper her plans. Brian helps Abi discover what Seb’s death has meant for her as she puts pen to paper in her victim impact statement. Sally is in full campaign mode as she wages war against local parking regulations, all in an attempt to get out of a ticket. An overworked Imran loses his temper when Leanne questions Kelly’s innocence. The Baileys notice that lots of people are living in their house. Tyrone buckles under pressure and admits to the police that it was Hope, not Fiz, who set the fire in the salon flat. Jenny has a spare poached egg. Ryan’s arms have not gone unnoticed. Fish Guy has got the deal of the century.

August 13, 2021 - Senior Knicker Flogger

In a somewhat bizarre opening to the week, Shona is involved in a hit and run that puts Todd in the hospital, and at time of going to press no one has given her a medal. Nina gets cracking on building Seb’s Man Garden, choosing to not recognize Abi’s obvious distaste for the idea, or ask Asha where she really got the money to invest in the project. Daisy is very keen to be seen in public with Ryan now that the two of them are an item but doesn’t anticipate Ryan still having regrets over how his previous relationship with Alya ended. It looks increasingly unlikely that Leanne or Nick are going to get any time off in the near future as we open a storyline where they look to get back into running the Bistro. Fiz’s disappearance causes much speculation over her whereabouts and her involvement in the salon flat fire, and drives a wedge between Tyrone and Alina. Dev is missing a Marigold. Brian’s plums need careful handling. That Rover 75 is back.

August 6, 2021 - Emily Brontësaurus

The aftermath of Todd’s chicanery leaves him with few options on places to live until a friendly undertaker comes to his rescue. Craig’s lackluster report on the Bailey’s incident encourages many quarters to draw a line under the incident, but James is not prepared to let it lie. Chesney’s inability to learn new skills leaves Gemma questioning her decision regarding Aled’s operation. Izzy becomes increasingly suspicious that her work and situation are not being taken seriously by the others at the knicker factory. George and Eileen have one more go on the relationship roundabout with sadly predictable results. Aadi takes relationship advice from Amy which leads Tracy and Steve to jump to the wrong conclusions. Following a meeting with her witness liaison officer, Nina is inspired towards a horticultural memorial for Seb. Constantly let down by Tyrone and Alina, Hope resorts to drastic measures to get his attention and her toy dinosaur back. Helena’s feet get dangerously close to the biscuits. The corner shop is overstocked in prophylactics. Phil lives in Speed Daal.

July 28, 2021 - The Gasps of Appreciation

An early episode covering Monday and Wednesday this week due to Helen's birthday extravaganza! James celebrates raking in thirty grand from his coming out story by getting himself in the market for a new motor, but the test drive turns sour when a traffic cop sees him gingerly make his way round a corner. Hope is making a collage of her extended family as part of a school project, but also to annoy her dad, and she takes exception to Tyrone putting the new baby and his wallet ahead of her. Laura’s new job isn’t going so well, but she has an idea for a story with the Weatherfield Gazette that might bring in a bob or two, until her daughter gets wind of the scheme. Ahead of the Weatherfield Scud Calendar launch, Summer bumps into Will and casually mentions the thousand pounds that Todd used to bail Billy out of his heat pump woes. Curtis survives another week. Grace has a website. Imran and Toyah run out of cheesy puffs.

July 23, 2021 - Particularly Hairy Kiwi

It’s the week of the nuddy calendar shoot and Curtis removes himself for a fake dental appointment but is yet to learn that you can’t go anywhere in the street without being seen. With construction work over budget and behind schedule, Billy finds his position as archdeacon of the cobbles untenable, much to Todd’s horror. Oliver’s death is still playing on Nick’s mind when Natasha announces she’s off to That London for a week and leaves him in charge of Sam and his posters. Michael is the only character on the show who fails to recognize that Grace still has the hots for him. Thanks to Imran, Laura lands a cleaning job at the factory but spends most of her time arranging meetings with reporters. Fiz attracts the attention of the new suitor from the furniture thing and soon she’s being swept off her feet, leading Hope to use the potential of two daddies to wind everyone else up. Toyah gets promoted because sure. Kirk probably doesn’t smell. Don’t call Tyrone 'mate'.
